Privacy Policy
What we collect on this site, why we collect it, and how to get it removed.
Last updated: 5 September 2026
The short version
This site collects your email address, and — if you apply to be a founding member or send us a message — a few things you choose to tell us. We use it to reply to you and to keep you posted on ProdSquad. We don't sell it, we don't run advertising or analytics trackers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
This policy covers the ProdSquad marketing site you are reading now. The ProdSquad product app is separate and has its own terms and privacy notice.
Who is responsible for your information
ProdSquad is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. [Registered company name and address to be added before public launch]
You can reach us about anything on this page through the contact form, or by emailing contact@prodsquad.ai.
What we collect, and when
We only hold what you type into one of the forms on this site, plus the ordinary technical information every website receives. There is no account to create and nothing is collected in the background.
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
That is the whole form. We also record that the address came from the waitlist, so we know which emails to send you.
When you apply to be a founding member
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- What you are trying to build
- Which AI coding tools you have tried
- Your biggest frustration with them
- How you describe your technical background (non-technical, learning to code, some experience, or professional developer)
- The date and time you applied
Two of those — what you are building and your biggest frustration — are free-text boxes. Please don't put anything confidential or sensitive in them; we only need enough to have a useful conversation.
When you send us a message
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- The message you write
- The date and time you sent it
Your message is emailed to us so we can read and reply to it, and your address is added to our email system as a contact so we know you wrote in. Sending us a message does not subscribe you to any mailing list — you only get marketing email from us if you join the waitlist or apply to be a founding member.
A copy of what you sent — your name, your email address and the message itself — is also written to our hosting provider's server logs. That copy is the safety net: if our email system is down when you write, it is the only record that you got in touch. It is not something we can pick out and delete on request, and we don't read it unless a message has gone missing; it disappears when those logs expire.
If we arrange a call with you
Founding member applications lead to a 30-minute conversation. When a call is booked, changed or cancelled, we receive your name, your email address, your time zone and the details of the booking, so we can put it in the diary and send you a reminder.
When you simply visit the site
Our hosting provider records the ordinary technical details of each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to serve the site, keep it available and defend it against abuse. We don't use those logs to build a profile of you. They are the same logs that hold the copy of a message you send us, described above.
What we don't do
- No analytics or advertising trackers. This site loads no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no third-party tag.
- No tracking cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, which stays on your device.
- No calls home for fonts. Our typeface is served from our own site, so viewing a page does not tell a font provider you were here.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
Why we hold it
- To reply to you — answering a message, or arranging a founding member call you asked for.
- To email you about ProdSquad — launch news and product updates, if you joined the waitlist or applied to be a founding member. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand who we are building for — what you tell us about your project and your frustrations shapes what we build. We look at it as feedback, not as a profile.
- To keep the site running and secure — the technical request logs described above.
Who else handles it
We keep the list of companies that touch your information as short as we can. Today it is three, and each only gets what it needs:
- Loops — our email and contact system. Everything you type into a form on this site is stored there, and it is what sends you email.
- Cal.com — scheduling. If we book a call with you, it holds your name, email, time zone and the booking itself.
- Vercel — hosting. It serves the site and keeps the technical request logs described above.
Beyond those, we would only hand over personal information if the law required it.
How long we keep it
We keep what you have given us for as long as you are interested in ProdSquad. If you unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your details, we remove them from our email system. We don't currently set a fixed expiry date. [A defined retention period to be confirmed before public launch]
The server logs described above are the exception. We can't pick a single entry out of them, so they aren't covered by a deletion request — they expire on our hosting provider's own schedule instead.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately.
- Ask what we hold. Message us and we'll tell you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it. Message us and we'll do it.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your information — to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it in a portable form. Ask, and we'll help. To ask, for any of these, use the contact form or email contact@prodsquad.ai — whichever you prefer.
Children
ProdSquad is a tool for people building software products, and this site is not intended for children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
ProdSquad is still being built, so this policy will change as the product does. When it changes we update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use what you have already given us, we'll email the people it affects rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
How to reach us
For anything about this policy — a question, a correction, or a request to delete your details — email contact@prodsquad.ai, or use the contact form.
